How much water does one person use in a day?
Around 50 litres covers drinking, cooking, washing and flushing with some care. 80 litres is a comfortable household with a washing machine. Gardens, car washing and animals push it higher.
How many days of storage should I plan for?
Plan for the longest gap you usually see in your area. Where supply is fairly regular, 2 to 3 days is a common choice. Where it is irregular, or for rentals, people often plan for a week.
Can I join two tanks?
Yes. Two tanks joined at the bottom act as one, and it is often easier to get two medium tanks onto a tank stand or through a gate than one very large one.
